• Device ID: A unique UUID for session security, device pairing, and account identification.
• IP address: Public internet address sent by the mobile app during registration. Used for security, abuse prevention, and support; not stored permanently on the device; fetched again on each register request.
• Platform and app version: iOS or Android and version number (for support and compatibility).
• Push notification token: Optional; for notifications (may be stored even if not yet active).
• Profile information: Optional name, email, and preferred language.
• Trip data: Expenses, payments, members, and categories for trips you create or join.
• Receipt photos: Images you attach to expenses (visible only to you and trip members).

How we use information

• Create your account and manage your session securely
• Provide expense sharing and balance calculations in travel groups
• Deliver real-time updates (WebSocket) to relevant trip members
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your data for advertising or share it with third parties for that purpose.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Deleted records are soft-deleted; permanent deletion occurs only when required by law or technical necessity. Communication is encrypted over HTTPS; API requests are protected with Bearer tokens.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from that age group.
